WTC 2023 Final [WATCH]: Mohammad Siraj ends Travis Head’s resistance as India fightback

Australia resumed Day 2 of the 2023 World Test Championship (WTC) final from the overnight score of 327/3. Steve Smith and Travis Head continued to extend their partnership by scoring boundaries on the bad balls. This quick addition of runs soon took the team total to 361-3 as duo added 34 in just six overs.

In the process, Smith completed his 31st century in Test cricket. On the other hand, the centurion of Day 1, Head, reached the landmark of 150 runs. However, Indians bowlers soon got the reward for their hard work.

After playing five full overs at the start of the day with ease, Siraj’s brilliant short ball on the leg stump helped India in getting the early breakthrough, which was the big wicket of Head.
