India tour of Ireland 2023: Ireland T20I squad, player news and injury updates
IRE vs IND: Ireland are set to host India for a three-match T20I series in the middle of August – here’s Ireland’s squad for the series, including player news and injury updates.
Fionn Hand and Gareth Delany have come back into the Ireland squad after not featuring in the T20 World Cup Europe Region Qualifier in Scotland in July. During that tournament, Ireland sealed their place at next year’s T20 World Cup in the Caribbean and USA.
Hand last played for Ireland in the one-off Test against England at Lord’s in early June, where he returned figures of 1-113 in the one innings he was required to bowl in. He has four wickets from his ten previous T20I matches having made his international debut last year.
