Nepal announces their men’s squad for the Asian Games 2023
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), on Friday, unveiled its 15-member squad for the upcoming Asian Games 2023, and the Nepal cricket team will be led by Rohit Paudel. The squad includes some prominent names in Nepal’s cricket scene, such as Sandeep Lamichhane, Aasif Sheikh and Gulshan Jha, among others.
The 19th Asian Games will take place in Hangzhou, China, from September 23 to October 8, after being postponed due to COVID-19.
Nepal’s participation in the Asia Cup earlier this year marked a significant milestone for the cricketing nation. In the tournament, Nepal were placed in Group A with cricket giants India and Pakistan. Although the team faced tough opposition and suffered big defeats
