Thornton shows he’s a speedster to watch after breaking Aussie A record in thumping win over Kiwis

Paceman Henry Thornton claimed the best-ever figures for an Australia A side taking 7-39 to help bowl the team to a 108-run win over New Zealand A.
After the hosts were all out for 243 in Brisbane, Thornton rolled through the New Zealanders by taking the first seven wickets.
Called into the squad on the eve of the match, Thornton took three wickets with his first four balls and was twice on a hat-trick in the innings.
His victims included Tom Bruce and Cam Fletcher for first-ball ducks, while a third New Zealander in Dean Foxcroft was also out for nought.
