United States Youth Premier League aims to bridge the gap to franchise cricket

The United States Youth Premier League (USYPL) is a US-based, youth T20 cricket league, that will be held in the Greater Washington (DC) Metro region between July 18-21, 2023.

The inaugural USYPL will be split into two age groups of U15 and U19 players. Each league then consists of four franchise teams with players competing from across the US, with fixtures taking place between July 18-21, 2023. The USYPL is a unique competition as it is the first national youth franchise league to take place in the US.

Players from clubs and academies from across the US can compete in the league as there are no contracts other than a small registration fee. There will be a Player of the Match nominated for each game and series.
