Watch: Leicestershire won their first fifty-over trophy in 38 years today (September 16) after an excellent final over from Josh Hull with just eight to defend completed their recovery from a first innings collapse.
Trent Bridge hosted the final of the One Day Cup final between Hampshire and Leicestershire, the latter getting off to a tricky start after electing to bat first. Leicestershire slipped to 19-4 and then 56-5 within the first 16 overs of the match. Captain Lewis Hill somewhat steadied the ship with 42 off 57 balls before Harry Swindells led a superb recovery.
